The Super Specialist landing nets from Drennan are made from a strong, rigid, lightweight, D section alloy frame.
The D section frame measures 7mm x 9mm and has been properly sealed so it does not fill with water and therefore gain weight when submerged.
There are two sizes of net available, 18" and 22".
There is a larger mesh on the sides to reduce water resistance and improve manoeuverability and finer mesh on the base to cradle the fish.
The whole net including the alloy frame is a muted green colour so when submerged it looks far more natural and weed like.
This ensures fish are far less likely to shy away and some species, like chub, will occasionally dive into the net rather than veer away.
