The 13ft Tench Float rod incorporates Drennan's 'Compact Design'. This means the bottom 1ft of the butt detaches, allowing the rod to be transported as a standard 2 piece, equal length sectioned rod.The advantages of this include being able to leave the rod assembled with float rigs set up at greater depths due to the longer section length, and helps to avoid tangles assoiated with made up 3 section rods. The balance and action are also improved due to the single forward joint.A semi-through action combined with a fast tip action provides excellent casting, line pick-up and float control.Ideally suited to tench, chub, barbel and commercial carp fishing with a line rating of 3-7lb.Supplied in a dedicated, padded, ready rod sleeve with rod bands included. A clear external identification pocket allows line and rig details to be easily viewed.
